- 2008 International Workshop — Once every two years, three carefully selected string quartets are offered a rare opportunity to work with the Emerson String Quartet. Quartet-in-residence at Stony Brook University since 2002, the Emerson Quartet offers an intensive and thoughtful week of rehearsal, coaching, performance and career development to three groups awarded full tuition, room and board, and travel expenses.
